Rajma Recipe

Rajma Recipe
Ingredients
  • Rajma (250 gm)
  • Soda (1/2 tsp)
  • Salt
  • Daarchini (2 inches.)
  • Tej patta (2-3)
  • Mustard Oil (1 cup)
  • Jeera (1/2 tsp)
  • Onion (3 pcs)
  • Tomatoes (2 pcs)
  • Green Chillies (5-6)
  • Red chilli Powder (1 tsp)
  • Coriander powder (2 tsp)
  • Turmeric powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Garam masala (1/2 tsp)
  • Roasted jeera powder (1 tsp)
  • Coriander

How to prepare

Take a bowl and add Rajma, Water, Soda and Soak it four 5-6 hours or Overnight.

Now take a cooker and add soaked rajma, Salt(1 tsp), Daarchini, Tej patta, Water( 1 ltr.) and cook it until 5-6 whistles.
Now mash it.

Now take a kadai and add Mustard oil and heat it now add jeera & Onion and fry until onion gets golden brown.

Now add Tomato, Green chillies, Red chilli powder, Dhaniya powder, Haldi powder & salt (as per taste) and mix gently & cook it for 5 minutes at low flame.

After 5 minutes add garam masala, Roasted Jeera Powder & add Rajma & mix gently and cook it for 10 minutes at low flame.

After 10 minutes garnish it with coriander.
